Vacation Accrual
At Bridgepoint Education, all regular full-time employees are eligible to earn paid vacation time. The schedule for accruing vacation time:

0 - 3 years of employment

10 days per year

3 - 5 years of employment

15 days per year

5+ years of employment

20 days

Learning and Development Leadership Programs Offered

We are strong believers in developing our employees and look to promote from within whenever possible. To help build each employee, there are several different internal programs that focus on leadership development.

Future Leaders Program

Bridgepoint Education offers a high potential leadership development program available to all individual contributors from across the organization. In this six-month elite program, participants are nominated by their manager and go through a rigorous selection process. This program is aimed at advancing the behavior and performance of participants through exploration of strengths, improvement of self-awareness, and professional development through various workshops, a philanthropy project, an internal mentor, career coaching, and participating in a job-shadowing assignment.

Discovering the Leader in You

All managers and directors across the organization are invited to attend a three-month program designed at enhancing their skills in self awareness, team motivation and organizational agility. Specific emphasis during each session is on giving managers tools to improve their skills, knowledge, and ability to perform successfully as a leader and in an effort to create high performing teams.

Emotional Intelligence

Emotional Intelligence is foundational to most every facet of business at Bridgepoint Education. From our communication with and presentation to students, to accountability for our work and day-to-day time-management and decision-making, we are all constantly drawing from our emotional intelligence skills. Select leaders are invited to attend training classes focused on the four EQ skills: self awareness, self management, social awareness and relationship management in order to gain the tools to become a more successful, impactful leader.
